H2 History: Last days of revision for History Exams
Firstly apologies for my absence this week, nothing I can do about this but the following I hope will help you in the days ahead. I am going to upload more IGCSE papers onto the wiki pages, but you have lots of them and should be using them at home to complete your revision. Please remember, that your results will depend on how much you revise! I have added more things to the wiki to help you so make sure you do use it!
Here are some basic reminders, AGAIN:
Paper 1 - 2 hours : Treaty of Versailles to collapse of communism - including Depth Study : Germany. Answer two questions from Section A and 1 from Section B. This paper requires a lot of thorough revision, question c, is usually a measuring question where other factors come into play. Remember to see both sides! Paper 2 - 2 hours : Early Years of the Cold War to 1949. Source paper, focuses on your critical thinking skills and knowledge. Paper 4 - Ivy and Bryan only. 1 hour, intense. Germany Depth Study - lots of revision required.

Last week I gave you a green booklet which you should have for this lesson called ' Why had International Peace Collapsed by 1939?'. For this lesson I want you to :
Form these groups ( leaders are in red) and complete the past paper questions, numbers indicated ( back of the booklet) : Get large sheets of paper, answer the questions in bullet points Group A Fergus, Grace, Julia Q 1 May/June 2009 Group B George, Katherine, Jessica Q2 May/June 2010 Group C Ned, Christine, Ivy, Bryan Q3 May/June 2007 Group D Brandon, John, Cecilia, Tommy Q5 November 2009
Use the notes given, the notes in your files and your textbook. You must finish this lesson and everyone must: Know the answers to each question ( a, b and c) go through the when you finish. Everyone in your group must also get a copy of the answers. Also share these with the rest of the class, if you feel everyone has worked equally hard on their questions.

1402 is booked for you Revision Focus today should be Depth Study Germany. Individual work today. You need to go onto the wiki and look at what I have added. You need to focus on the areas you need to improve. You must ring your notes and textbook to this lesson as well. There is to be NO wandering around useless websites! Use the materials and the websites (see revision section of wiki) that I have given you.
